Community Guidelines

Logist puts you on camera with someone who disagrees with you. That only works if people can argue hard and still feel safe being here. These guidelines are what we enforce. They are part of the Terms of Service.

The point of this place

Argue with the idea, not the person. You were matched because you took opposite sides. Being wrong is not a character flaw and neither is disagreeing with you. Go after the argument as hard as you like.

You are also free to end a debate at any time, for any reason or none. Leaving is always available and you never owe anyone an explanation.

What gets you removed

Nudity and sexual content

No nudity, no sexual acts, no sexual content of any kind. This includes what is behind you and what is on screen. Do not ask another user to undress or perform.

Harassment and hate

No targeted abuse, intimidation, or degradation. No slurs. No attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or appearance.

Calling an argument stupid is fine. Calling a person subhuman is not.

Threats and violence

No threats of violence against anyone, no encouragement of violence, no glorification of violent extremism or mass atrocities.

Minors

Nobody under 18 may use Logist. If you are under 18, leave.

If you see someone who appears to be a minor, leave the debate and report them immediately using “Underage user”. Do not engage further.

Sexual content involving minors results in a permanent ban and is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement. There is no appeal and no second chance.

You can also report to NCMEC yourself at report.cybertip.org. That is in addition to reporting here, not instead of it — we report what we learn either way, and we still need your report in order to act on the account.

Recording and privacy

Do not record. No screen recording, no screenshots, no filming your screen, no streaming a debate to an audience. The other person is on camera because they expect the moment not to be kept.

Do not share, publish, or threaten to publish anyone’s personal information. Do not ask another user for their full name, address, workplace, financial details, or identity documents.

Recording someone without consent may be a crime where you or they live.

Self-harm and suicide

Do not encourage, instruct, or pressure anyone toward self-harm.

If someone tells you they are in danger, you are not expected to be their counsellor. End the call and report it so a human sees it. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services. In the US you can reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

Spam, advertising, and solicitation

No promoting products, channels, causes, or yourself. No recruiting. No links. No sending people elsewhere. No scams, no fraud, no requests for money.

Impersonation and deception

Do not claim to be someone you are not. Do not use a display name designed to impersonate a real person or an organisation.

Do not use a pre-recorded video, a virtual camera, a loop, or software to appear as something other than yourself in real time.

Illegal activity

Do not use Logist to commit or arrange anything illegal, or to distribute illegal material.

Evading enforcement

Do not create a new account to get around a suspension or ban. Do not help someone else do it.

Reporting

Every call has a Report button. Using it ends the debate immediately, and you will never be matched with that person again.

You will be asked what happened:

• Nudity or sexual content
• Harassment or hate
• Threats or violence
• Underage user
• Spam or advertising
• Something else

Pick the closest one. It decides how quickly a human looks at it. There is a box underneath for anything the list does not cover, and you can leave it empty.

Report rather than retaliate. You are never in the wrong for leaving a debate that has gone bad.

What happens next. A person at Logist reviews every report and decides what action to take. Because we do not record calls, we cannot watch what happened — we act on what is reported and on what we know about the accounts involved. You will not usually be told the outcome of a report about someone else, because that is their private account information.

False reports. Reporting someone because you lost the argument is itself a violation.

What we do about it

Depending on what happened, and what has happened before:

The most serious categories — sexual content involving minors, threats of violence, sexual content shown to someone without consent — skip the ladder and go straight to a permanent ban.

Every enforcement decision is recorded with the reason and the person who made it.

We may also end a call, pause matching, or take the whole Service offline at any time if we think it is necessary.

Appeals

If you think we got it wrong, write to support@logist.live from the email address on your account and tell us why. A person will look again. Our decision after that review is final.

Bans for child sexual exploitation are not appealable.

Looking after yourself

• Never share personal information with someone you meet here.
• Nobody from Logist will ever ask you for a password, payment details, or identity documents in a call.
• You can leave any debate, at any time. The button is always there.
• If someone makes you uncomfortable, report and go. You do not owe them the rest of the conversation.

These guidelines are not a complete list of everything that could get you removed. We enforce the spirit of them, and we use judgment. If something is clearly designed to hurt someone, assume it is not allowed.
